I can see you are new, would you mind if I gave you a little advice? So, the ball pen is nice for if you want something to not be very detailed, for instance, a car. If you zoom in, the ball pen gets smaller (font wise), and if you zoom out, the ball pen (font) gets much bigger. The airbrush is great for skin. I like to unlock all of the art tools (there’s a great glitch where if you click on a locked to and press watch add, it unlocks ALL of the art tools) because if is always good to have a variety of tools and different textures. Airbrush is also good for shading. If you want to blend a color, airbrush blends it greatly. The smudge tool is also good for shading, BUT very noticeable for shading. I personally like airbrush better. Smudge is good for making things look tye dye. The big brush is ok, but also is interesting. If you don’t really understand bug brush, know if my early posts at the bottom has big brush. Small brush, I honestly never use. Small brush makes your things look crummy, and like you’re a newb. Some people with a lot of likes for some reason use it, but if you notice they also ask for likes because the small brush doesn’t look very good. Eraser is good for when there is a blotchy-looking spot on your drawing, you can erase it and fill it in with the color. Eraser has the same mechanism as the ball pen, zoom in, it gets smaller, zoom out, it gets bigger. Technical pen is usually used for small lining. Example, there is a missing line in one of the drawings, which means the color goes outside the line. You can fix the line to make it look more professional. Watercolor is also a good blender tool, and one of my newest posts has it, it’s kinda hard to explain, because you would have to see it yourself in order to understand it. (My newest post is a lady butterfly, orange) (for the big brush example, it’s a anime person half red half blue) for the pencil, that is pretty much never used, UNLESS, you want to make something look glittery, not shiny. (To make something look glittery, you take the airbrush, select a lighter color, do a spot with airbrush, and then take the pencil and select a little bit of a darker OR lighter color, and then do it over the airbrush spot.)
Things that a lot of new beginners don’t notice:
So, when ever you look on the popular page, (if you don’t know where the popular page is, it’s at the bottom next to the button that shows your stuff) you see a few people with a CRAZY looking background! And you think, how did they do that?! Usually it’s a cloud or a flower. They did not color that. But, people think they did so they like and follow. The person put barely any effort and so don’t like because those people are trying to trick you. If you see a magical cloud or something crazy for the background of hoodie or something, know that they did not color it. If you want to do a background like that, that’s totally fine. You can find the background up in the right corner, and there will be three sections. Also, when people say “oh give me five likes with a sad crying person”, always click on their profile and check to see how many likes they have. If they have 100,200, or less, then give them a like. But if they have like 500 or less more than report them for fraud.
I think I went over everything. If I didn’t just tell me and I’ll tell you. I believe in you and hope other people will too!
